overall GRID is a great driving game although limited to a certain amount of cars and courses to race on, GRID has really provocative graphics i rate this an overall a 4.5
I love racing games and if you can't wait for GT5, get this to tide you over. It's great, it encourages you to take chances and really makes things more exciting. Here, you have a little bit of leeway.
Wide variety of real cars, (which is imperative to me), unlimited cosmetic upgrades, lots of tuning options. The best feature is the crash rewind feature, which comes in SUPER handy during a 20 minute race. Absolutely the best racing game around other than the gran turismos.
Other games if you slip up once, its over. I promise you won't be disappointed. Lots of races, a great career mode, an in depth partnership feature, and lots of varying degrees of difficulty.
My only complaint is it gets ridiculously hard at the top levels (as it should), frustratingly difficult.
only 720p being the highest res. the game play is simply fantastic. Other than that, GRID is definitely one of the best driving games on the market. GT Prologue play's in full HD 1080p. I have played many other Codemasters racing games and think they are amazing. My only gripe with the game is not being able to view the game in full 1080p.
But as soon as I started playing the game i got hooked. There are several different kind of races and in each you have to learn how to drive the car in order to have some achievements, and this creates a lot of fun from a racing game.I use the Logitech Driving Force GT Racing Wheel and the feel of the car helps you a lot to dive into the action.Absolutely recommendable for all kind of driving fans. I have bought this game because I am a formula 1 fan and i noticed it has open-wheel races.
Slow to start but becomes additive after a couple of hours. A great racing game if you give it a chance.
